Korean Lash Lift vs Traditional Lash Lift

What's actually the difference? Both treatments lift and enhance your natural lashes without extensions, but the technique and finished result are a little different. Here's everything you need to know before choosing yours.

Two techniques. Two different finishes.

At The Beauty Chambers, we offer both Korean and traditional lash lifts because there isn't one lash shape that suits everyone.

The biggest difference comes down to how the lashes are lifted and the finished shape you're wanting to achieve.

The newer technique

Korean Lash Lift

$115 including tint

Korean lash lifting focuses on creating lift right from the base of the natural lashes. The technique allows us to soften and carefully redirect the lashes before setting them into their final position.

The result is a clean, lifted and elongated look that can make your natural lashes appear noticeably longer without adding extensions.

  • Strong lift from the roots
  • Clean, elongated finish
  • Shows off more of your natural lash length
  • Great for straight or downward-growing lashes
  • Customised to your natural lashes
  • Includes lash tint
The classic technique

Traditional Lash Lift

$110 including tint

A traditional lash lift uses a silicone shield to lift and curl your natural lashes into their new shape.

This creates the classic lash-lift finish with a softer, more rounded curl. It's a beautiful option if you want noticeable enhancement without as much emphasis on a strong root lift.

  • Softer, rounded curl
  • Classic lash-lift finish
  • Natural-looking enhancement
  • Beautiful for clients who love more curl
  • Soft, feminine finish
  • Includes lash tint

Which one should I choose?

Choose Korean if... You want maximum root lift, an elongated finish and as much of your natural lash length showing as possible.
Choose Traditional if... You prefer a softer, more rounded curl and the classic lash-lift look.

Does a Korean lash lift make your lashes longer?

Technically, no. We aren't adding any length to your natural lashes. But it can definitely look like we have.

When natural lashes grow forward or downward, some of their length isn't as visible from the front. By lifting the lashes from the base and directing them upwards, more of the lash becomes visible.

Same natural lashes. A very different view of them.

Your lash lift questions

Is a Korean lash lift better than a traditional lash lift?

Not necessarily. They're different techniques that create different finishes. Korean lifting is ideal if you love a stronger root lift and elongated appearance, while traditional lifting is beautiful if you prefer a softer, rounded curl.

Which one is best for straight or downward-growing lashes?

A Korean lash lift can be a beautiful option for lashes that naturally grow straight or downward because the technique focuses on creating lift from the base of the lashes.

Does my lash lift include a tint?

Yes. Both our Korean Lash Lift and Traditional Lash Lift include a lash tint to deepen the colour of your natural lashes and make the finished result stand out even more.

How long does a lash lift last?

Your lift gradually grows out with your natural lash cycle. How long your results look their best will vary depending on your individual lash growth, aftercare and how quickly your lashes naturally replace themselves.

What if I don't know which one to book?

Don't stress. We can assess your natural lashes and talk about the result you're wanting before your treatment. Your lash length, growth direction and eye shape can all help determine which finish will suit you best.
